Mary is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us the lovely combo of Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and Old Olive. The dessert option is DS (designer series/patterned) paper.
The attraction was strong, but I resisted the temptation to pull out one of my all-time favorite stamp sets, Blossoms Abound, and make some lovely lilacs. Instead, I opted for this sweet little PI girl in her purple polka-dot dress, longing to see a special friend.
I colored the image with Copic markers, then added details with Polychromos colored pencils. Got in double dessert with two different DS papers, too!
I'm looking forward to seeing what you create with these pretty colors! Please join us!

Oh Barbara........this card is adorable. Perfectly colored little sweet scene. I love everything about your card. I have to make a mental note to get my MFT little girl stamps out and at some point do something with them. Isn't it amazing all the beautiful cards that are made with the SCSCC?
Thank you for the nice comment you left on my card.
