This card caught my attention because it is so striking, it has butterflies and a Bible verse. I had paper on my desk today that was so similar to the background stamp Linda used. I have been working on using up paper and pre-made backgrounds; I was inspired to use both. This background is actually richer and deeper in person. I stamped the verse in the middle and die-cut it out. Then I trimmed the rest and attached to a white card base. I filled in the middle with a couple scraps so it was all flat. Then I layered on the butterfly paper and the die-cut verse with a black matt. The butterfly and heart are from papers gifted to me by gabbygal aka Betty. I fussy cut out the beautiful embossed butterfly and stamped antennas for it. Then I punched out a heart from the rest of the embossed paper. I wish I would have used a black card base as Linda did. Next time! Live and learn.
Thanks Linda for sharing your beautiful cards with us and for inspiring mine today!
Thank you Betty for the pretty papers!

Beautiful! Stamped BG, and verse, inspiring. Love that you were able to use the wedding stock. Creative how you used them! Excellent fussy cutting.

Oh, this is so beautiful- that background paper, the white embossed butterfly, and that scripture which is one of my favorites, one I memorized years ago and often fall back on. Thank you for choosing that verse to go with this beautiful card!
