No one could ever accuse me of being a perfectionist. I probably should have chosen a stencil that didn't have so much open space between the suns....the flying around gilding flakes kept getting everywhere. At first I tried to fight it but you can't...I ended up adding more in between. Even if you carefully pick up the flakes you don't want, they will leave some gilding. If you can't beat 'em.....since the gilding flakes were messy enough, I'm glad I used clear ep. I'll try a different stencil.
This is also for today's IC.....wonderful foodie board, Stacy!!!!!! I hadn't looked at it yet....wow! These colors are what inspired me: https://www.pinterest.com

I also had an issue with the sticky paper not sticking in a straight line on the left. I think it was because the sticky paper had a crease in it and the 'sticky' wouldn't adhere or maybe there wasn't any sticky in that crease. I tried to fix it, made it worse. So that is the reason for the strips of gilded cs and the beaded trim. I haven't decided on a sentiment yet but when I do, I'll retake the picture. Oh and easel cards are my favorite fold! They have such presence!

What a gorgeous card, Jean! I love the results that you got with the gilding flakes! Your card is great...all the flakes flying around made it look fabulous! It could be a new technique: "flying gilding flakes." Thanks for playing along on my challenge! Hugs!
