For our July Tickle a Teapotter Sonja has us taking one of our Teapotter friends on an adventure. I had a hard time narrowing it down to just one place. I've been to a lot of cool places....some of my favorites are Salzburg, Austria, Bavaria, all of Ireland but the Aran Islands in particular. On a side note to Sabrina....the people of Ireland are the friendliest people I've ever met. OK back to my destination...I decided I'd like to go somewhere I've never been so I chose the place where my parents went on their honeymoon.....Lake Louise and Banff National Park in Canada. It's kind of funny that they went there as my mom was not the outdoorsy type at all. Anyway...I'm not really a beach person and my fantasy trip would be to see the wonders of nature. So I painted some mountains and a lake....I wonder who will be traveling with me....???

Absolutely beautiful painting! Love the majestic mountains in the background with the reflections in the water, and the way you framed it with greenery along the sides is gorgeous. I would love to visit this destination, in a heartbeat!

Oh yes - take me there. I have so many good memories of Lake Louise. Just to pretty - but last time - just so crowded. I think I would like to go back there again in the late Autumn when perhaps it wouldn’t be so busy. Oh - to sit by the window there and watch it snow. You have captured the colour of the water so well. Now you have given me very itchy feet so count me in on joining you in Canada.

I'd go with you, (maybe) if I could stay in a motel, and the car. LOL This is beautiful though!!
