Pat has a starry (or other shape) sketch for us this week. For this card (which is a Christmas card though it doesn't look very traditional), I went with the star shapes and gold heat embossed them.
I blended a galaxy sky on some Bristol smooth card stock and splattered it with both Perfect Pearl water and white acrylic paint for lots of starry splatters. My daughter had gotten this lovely organza gift bag printed with stars and moons. I've been saving it to use on a card and this was the time. I added my vertical strips using metallic paper and added my stars popping the middle one up. This is also for this week's Alphabet Challenge. This week focused on layers. I have layers of ink in my galaxy sky and then layers of card stock and a layer of organza.
Come and try the sketch challenge!
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!
