A wicked fun and easy Watercolor Wednesday today. I needed it after last week's octopus. My sister in law gave me some liquid watercolors for my birthday. I can't seem to get the hang of them, but it was good practice to use them for this wash. #1 on the pros list is that the colors are nice and bright! After the wash dried, I googled how to doodle coral and drew in a little coral reef for my hilarious pufferfish. This was my first time using my Uni-Ball gold Signo pen. It's amazing. Naturally, the fish is on a wobble and has Nuvo Crystal Glaze on his eyes. I almost feel like I should have given him googly eyes instead. This will be a fun belated birthday card.

This turned out cute as can be and I love your forgetful Puffer fish. I can tell you enjoyed your doodling on this, too! For some reason doodling is my Achilles Heel - it stresses me to the max and I'm sure my BP is thru the roof right now but I'll live to try another challenge . . . .
