For this weekâs Teapot Tuesday Challenge. I stamped and embossed the image of the boy first, partially cut around top of image and tore the rest of the âSandyâ strip. Then I attached torn strips in layers of Coordination cardstock for the water/waves, glued to a white panel and sponged the sky. I wanted to get the sun in, but also wanted to use my new cloud stencilâ¦so, itâs a partly cloudy yet sunny day - perfect for beach weather lol.

The torn paper edges make fabulous white caps on those rolling waves. I was trying to determine what you used to get the texture in your sand and I am guessing that is the stickles . . . very nicely put together.

I love the scene you made - a day at the beach is a perfect summer day! The torn paper looks realistic as white-capped waves, and the partly sunny/partly cloudy day is beautifully done!

Oh, just lovely. Brings back childhood memories, as we grew up by the sea and spent many afternoons there after school. Only the sand was too coarse to be ideal for castles :-(. Your stencil sky is beautiful, and I like the shades of colour in the sea.

WOW! I love everything about this. First off, that image is a personal favorite and one of the first sets I purchased. I still have it. Then you school us on using torn paper to create the surf in a gradual ombre of blue. Last, those perfect billowing clouds- breathtaking. I'm gonna save this to CASE in the future.
