This card is for Linda's Teapot Party Tickle. It's also for the Alpha challenge I = inlaid die cut.
The lady die cut was gifted to me by a dear friend on this site .thank you Gracie. The face was die cut twice, once using normal CS and the top layer is cut out of textured paper that's been in my stash for a while. It looks slightly cream against the pure white CS but is supposed to be white too.
The Distressed BG has two panels, one of which was dry embossed and the other stencilled using a glitter gel medium.
The sentiment was heat embossed on Vellum, one of my favourite techniques at present. The vellum flowers were die cut using a TH die. Lace and bling added and of course lots of Stickles.
I was tempted to add pink lippy or rosy cheeks but thought better of it. I'm not one to leave things plain lol but I do like how this turned out. Just a couple of things I would do differently next time but I hope whoever receives this knows it was made thinking of love and with love.
TFL. Happy day

Jayney, I could certainly tell that this card was done with lots of love - just look at how beautiful it is! Love the inlaid face and the flowers, I also like how you combined two techniques for the background, and that bit of lace peeking from behind the layers!

I had to chuckle about wanting to add some color to her lips or cheeks. I thought it must be almost as difficult for you to refrain from color as it was for me. I do love everything you did add! And if you draw my name you can rouge her up :0)

All your layers and techniques bring this lady into a world of style and elegance that is absolutely stunning! I would love to pair it next to the equally exquisite architectural, masculine metallic card that John & I received in the mail yesterday. You possess an amazing talent, Jayne. Thanks for all the love you pour into your art.

The bitty touches of silver add so much to the already complex beauty of this mixed media marvel.
