Thank you, Anita, for this special pop-up fold challenge. I changed a few things-skipped the two small squares as I didn't want to take away from my watercolor moon, scored where the pop-up meets the square and the center panel so it would bend easier and adjusted the measurement of the triangle, it felt a little small to me (did 3 5/8"). I will make another with those little squares, now that I have the hang of it. The other thing I wish I had done was to put more adhesive in the center of the dp; it's very thin and it buckles a bit in the center...but no big deal. Live and learn! I've had this paper probably about 15 years. Very pretty swirly pattern
I used Maimari and Finetec watercolors. Could have gone darker, was a little afraid to add more so quit while I was ahead. I hadn't planned on used the dark blue Club Scrap paper at the time. I loved doing this WCW challenge. I think I will send this to daughter Liz; seems like her life has been one long, anxious 'phase'. She still has a lot going on, even though it's summer. Her girls have spent way too much time in close quarters the past 18 months and they are 'squirrelly' with each other. Because those 'twirly girls' are not vaccinated and the neighbors have had Covid on and off since early May, even more time together quarantining! Yikes!

Oh, my! How perfect for your daughter! We have other reasons at our house but I try to remind myself it's just a phase but yikes, it's not been an easy season or phase! Your daughter will appreciate this so much! Your moon is gorgeous and so fun to use such a fabulous fold!
