Cathy is our WTUI hostess this week, and we are going "faux": WT850 - Go Faux (6/24/21) by cathymac at Splitcoaststampers. So many choices...for this card, I added some faux stitching, since my sewing machine is currently downstairs being used for "real" sewing until I can get my other machine serviced. I stamped
Penny Black's In Paris on watercolour paper with Versafine smokey grey and coloured with watercolours. French Foliage and FLCC franking, unknown sentiment. Thank you, Margot, for both the stamp and the paper.
The card is 7"X 5".

You know how much I love stitching on cards and your faux stitching looks so real, Sabrina! What a wonderful technique to use with this Parisian image!

I love that stamp and I love the way you have watercolored it. What a beautiful scene. The stitching adds such a lovely touch. Fabulous card. Looking at the sentiment, I am sure this card brings you many fond memories of past trips and visits to France. Hugs.
I love everything about this! Your background panel looks like an aerial view of the city; your watercoloring is perfection. And it's hard to believe that stitching isn't real. Magnificent card in every way!
