For our Teapot Tuesday challenge we were encouraged to give it a French Touch, so I went with a picnic basket with a loaf of French Bread, cheese, and wine, and a motor scooter with a French flag/banner. I will be putting it in the mail tomorrow for Larry, who is recovering from a hip replacement.
I am also including it in the Monday CAS challenge of outdoor scenes.

Lovely peaceful scene, nice use of Lovely as a Tree. Your picnic looks most appetising with the gingham cloth. It always amuses me the way, even in the motorway service stations, French families having their picnic lunches DO almost always have cloths that they spread out over the picnic benches. I guess we're always minimalist because we're tent camping and our lunches are in a cool bag with ice blocks, but some of the other lunchers have the most civilised looking spreads you can imagine.

I love this beautiful picnic scene. So well done with the basket brimming with good food and the red checked table cloth, as well as the scooter and the little Frence flag.
