Today's WTUI challenge is all about torn edges. Since all of used masking with a torn edge in our samples, I wanted to add a card made where the torn edge is a physical part of the card. The image I was working on last night wasn't going to work, so it was time to finally break out this die. I gave one to a friend last September, and when DH saw a card she made with it, he wanted me to have it too . I already have a cute fox, but since he was offering to buy it, and since my sister could collect it in-store for me and keep it till I saw her, I said yes.
The fox is cut from watercolour paper and sponged with distress inks.
The background is from my stash, a gel print with leaves, stars and a bamboo grove. I NEVER have enough greens so a while ago I brayered a couple of book pages in general shades of green paint. I used two strips torn from that for the grass. The little mushrooms are part of the fox set. I added it to a white base, and might add a sentiment when I come to use it, but I'm not sure.

Awww! What a gorgeous little fox! Your colours are beautifully done both Mr. Fox and the background/foreground. That covers it all doesn't it? :-) Beautiful dimension here.
