Diane Malcor is this week's featured stamper. She has a super cool gallery full of cards and scrapbook pages. I loved how she colored the kitty on this one:
I fully intended to use a kitty image I have, but somehow on the way to the craft room, it morphed in to a gray toned friends card instead.
I used a fun free digital download from SU! This card is going to my friend, Michele, who has traveled the world and will appreciate the words. I spent the day with her and my Sister yesterday, and we all three hugged at the end of the day just like this!
I stayed with gray, a single framed image and words on the bottom, but I moved my words on top of the image (had to cover up a little error - lol), no embossing, and less layers. I also added in some stenciling and some vintage photo ink (can't resist). I also added in Stickles for fun.
Congrats, Diane, and I hope you enjoy your week!!!!

Nancy, this image is so beautiful. I love the three girls in their emotional hug.It reminds me of when I see old classmates that I haven't seen in years. The gray coloring and the stenciled background is so lovely.

I LOVE THIS! i need to go to the free downloads and check out... but YOU did an amazing job drawing me in to the details by using monochrome colors. I am always amazed how that works ... less really can be more sometimes. hahah I rarely do 'less'. lol i overdo more often than not. The SMORES made me want to run to the fridge, so I didn't linger there and comment but too too cute. I am feeling better now (one skin cancer spot still questionable but follow up soon) and trying to get back into the swing, Thanks for the kind comment on my cardboard grad card. T
