It was nice to pull out a bird stamp I haven't used in a long time. I loosely masked it after colouring and stamped the background stamp over it with smokey grey, then sponged stormy sky around the edges. Matted it onto some dark grey. It's a surprisingly large image, so I had to go for the square base. I embossed the background layer with SU's quilt top ef, and wrapped some washi tape around the edge. Added the little sentiments, and made three paper buttons with the various card I had used for matting and layering.

Your Tufted Titmouse (we see it here in VA) is so cute!! Love how you have music behind the bird - they do have a lovely song! Love the layout of your card!!

This is just gorgeous. What a lovely little bird against that pretty background. Nice finishing touch with the country style buttons and twine. Love it all.

Like Sandy, I also had to google the difference between a crested titmouse and a tufted titmouse. It's fun to learn things and look at beautiful cards at the same time. Love the orange background of this one and the cute buttons!
