What a fun time I had perusing this week's Featured Stamper's Gallery -- that's Pat aka casep. It was also like a walk down memory lane because I spotted so many stamps that I own too. I was trying to avoid those cards and do something different until I spotted this card with one of my favorite flower stamps: Spunky Flowers by casep at Splitcoaststampers
I love the look of this card in black and white, but I needed a birthday card for my good friend Barb who loves the desert and summer colors so I switched to this sunny golden yellow. I kept the two color theme and floral dp but switched out strips of paper for the ribbon, heat embossing the sentiment onto that. I did have to stamp the flower several times for the yellow to really show up and then clear embossed to help it along. And, like Pat, I used two colors of stickles in the center.
Congratulations Pat on being this week's Featured Stamper. You have a fun and festive Gallery filled with inspiring cards. I hope you enjoy your week. And, I hope all of you have a week filled with golden yellow sunshine and tons of fun. TFL.

Lovely card! Your designer paper is so pretty and compliments that beautiful blossom so well! I also have that stamp and you've inspired me to get it out and use it again!
