Friday night, the IC has loaded, start of the weekend...time to relax! Thank you, Julie for a great web site...who knew garments could be so inspiring? I love fashion, but decided to go another direction.
It was this print that got my creative energies going. Love dandelions.
I had to create a background first. This one is various DO's sprayed onto a craft sheet, spritzed with water and then drug the paper through the inks. I kept after it until I was pleased. Probably 3 panels in...once dry, I added the darker green spritz glitter spray from Tattered Angels 'Blade Green'.
The dandelion stamp was inked once with the stem and THO 'Mowed Lawn'. The seed head was inked three times with the 'Fallen Leaves' and embossed with 'Shell White' ep. The second time with VersaMark and embossed with Ranger 'Bridal Tinsel' and the final time with VersaMark and 'Watering Can' ep. It built up a nice mix of color and texture.
This fits with Angie's F4A584 'Texture'. Textures with an embossing folder and heat embossing (on the panel and the dandelions) and my Tim tiny staples...a trio always. I had a bit of leftover panel so decided to place it on the lower inside back, so when you open the card you finger feels the embossed panel...a very small thing, but textural in a way I had not thought about!
Happy weekend...I hope you'll be on the lookout for a few dandelions to blow wishes...and may all you wish for bloom.
Always thank you for stopping by...
