Oh my, I could just do with some downtime in that hotel with plenty of good books. Christmas 19, DH gave me a Kindle with an eye to it being useful for our camping holidays, and I do read a lot on it but nothing beats real paper. My choice of room was Agatha Christie. She was probably the first detective fiction I read, I remember my aunt or grandmother giving me a hardback Miss Marple omnibus. Actually, though, she doesn't feature much in my collection - I think I have "The Secret of Chimneys" and the Mysterious Mr Quin, and that's about it - whereas I have the full sets of D.L. Sayers, Margery Allingham, Michael Innes from the Golden Age writers and am building the complete Ngaio Marsh collection on my Kindle.
A bookish background for all the murders committed in libraries. I worked in a couple of houses in the UK which had just such libraries - this one is a little more modern looking. Coloured the image with pencils. I added a grounding for Snoopy with an old paper bag. There is an even more Poirot-like moustache in the IO set of dies, but alas it was too big for Snoopy, I had to settle for this one. It's temporary glue, I might tuck the larger one inside for the recipient to try for size .
Added the question mark for clues. Hard to see, but it's popped up on foam.
Oh, I do have the complete Sherlock Holmes, too!!

wow even snoopy gets in on the detecting, great images and colored as well as choice of authors. Books are the eyes to the world when one cannot visit these places---super sweet card
I love, love, love your bookshelves with the colorful books and interesting knick-knacks, Sabrina! Love the murder mystery in the library concept - specially with Snoopy as Poirot/Sherlock (I confess that I imagine Sherlock Holmes as Benedict Cumberbatch's character though ) It's Miss Scarlet in the library with a lead pipe! LOL
It's funny how my DH also gifted me with a Kindle, and I do use it some, but I still prefer reading a real book, too. Although I've read most of Agatha Christie's mysteries, I usually borrowed them from the library, but... amazingly, like you, I also have the complete Sherlock Holmes!

That is just the best bookcase! I had to soak in all the choices of titles. I think I’ll start with PARIS. Love this design is a tad mod. Snoopy, indeed, is the canine to solve the mystery. I especially love the snippet of brown paper bag...it adds an interesting stop and examine at the bottom. Meet you in the library...I hear they are serving Guinness in your honor!

Without looking, I believe it was Pat who had a bookshelf on her card, and as I told her, it makes me want to grab my cat - go to the living room - and read. Love it! Love your card! The piggy planter is really cute!!!

Great book inspired room for your fabulous book stamp Sabrina. I wish I had more time for reading actual books rather than training materials. Oh to sit back and just enjoy a good book would be wonderful....someday.

I think I've really missed something in not reading these classic authors. I only read what I 'had' to in high school and in nursing school there isn't time to read much more than medical books! Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre are my only classic books read. But I do read - a lot - on my tablet.
Love your card. I just looked at a bookcase stamp at HL. This is a wonderful card and I love your Snoopy.

Fun and fabulous. Who wouldn't want to spend a lazy day in the wonderful library. Love your Snoopy detective snooping around for clues. And, how do you have time to read anything between work, card making and life you seem pretty darn busy. Wonderful card.
