For this week's WTUI challenge - I am your hostess, and you can find the challenge HERE.
Pretty much everything on my card, bar the buttons, is recycled. I used two calendars - one with Japanese prints for the background (gessoed to soften it), and one of Australian flowers for the punched flowers. I used old jeans for the butterfly ( a Memory Box die) with one of my tomato paste tubes providing the body, and Liquid Pearls for embellishments. I also used some paper packing material, and an old book page (brayered with two shades of green) for the leaves, which were cut with an XCut die.
Make your contribution to Earth Day by recycling something and playing along with us.

How Amazing that you could use nearly everything recycled to create a card such as this one! I'm so impressed, Sabrina! You must be the Queen of recycling~

Your beautiful card just screams "Earth Day" both with the design and the recycling. Love the bright flowers against your gesso'd bg. Great card. Happy Earth Day.

Wow! This is a fabulous card and so much is recycled! I'm impressed. Especially love the packing paper and the jean butterfly. The flowers are really pretty, too. The colors of the tube were great or you colored them really well, whichever.

So much creativity, so many details to enjoy. Love the denim butterfly and don't know what a tomato paste tube is---did you die cut it for the gold body of the butterfly? The buttons look good enough to eat, too.

Hah, we’re still causing consternation with the tomato paste tubes you know (I’ve just arrived via a conversation in the Challenge Chat thread)! Great use of all the recycled elements Sabrina, this looks fabulous!

I always love to see new ways you used the tomato paste cans on your cards and oh my goodness the denim butterfly is fantastic. The calendar makes a wonderful BG too for those gorgeous flowers. When you said the buttons are not recycled I wondered if they came off old shirts as they appeared to be a vintage feel to them but either way they are gorgeous too. Well done on all the recycling on this beautiful card.
