My Grandson Lewis spent the morning with me. He made 12 cards, an art journal page, and some frozen chocolate chip cookie dough. Wow - he is almost 6 and you can just imagine how good this makes my heart feel.
He remembered that when they lived with me while building their house 2 years ago that on the weekend we looked at people's cards and made one of our own. He said, "Nana, for my last card let's pull up someone's card and make one for my Mom." He always loved the Featured Stamper challenge and he always gave his Mother the cards he made.
He loved the ribbon treatment, but I could not find any of my eyelets so we just glued down some ribbon. He said this plaid paper matched the ribbon so we used it. He said this wreath worked as a circle too. He planned to draw the flowers but we remembered I got the funky flowers die yesterday from Amazon, and he picked out the stash paper to make them. He LOVES my Big Shot.
He let me take a picture and told me to post it so here it is. Such a wonderful morning - one I will remember and cherish always. Thanks for the inspiration, Heather.

What a heart touching story behind Lewis' perfectly cheery card! My goodness, he has a lot of creativity and energy to make all that he did in one morning. I can see him asking to cut out all sorts of things with the Big Shot ;)
