Toni is our WTUI challenge hostess this week, and I'm sure you'll agree it's a very fun and versatile one. I made this card as an extra, because recently I was revisiting Gem's shell technique (TLC627 : TLC627 ~ Seashells By the Sea Shore ~ {02/27/2017} by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers) and had a look through the gallery from the challenge. I was struck by Linda's card where she used a scalloped oval cut in two to create her shells, so that's what I did.
IO Mystic Mermaid, Art Neko sentiment. Watercolour paper, coloured the hair, arms, boulder and sand with Couleur DâArt pencils, then added a wash of pale blue Twinkling H2Os. Used gel pens for the tail and flowers. Base was smeared with Gelatos and stamped with a seashell in Archival purple ink. Nuvo Drops for the headband and jellyfish. A scalloped oval for the shells, cut, scored, sponged with distress inks and shaped.

Your image is gorgeous and so is the coloring/embellishments. I love these shells -- maybe even a bit more than the last ones. They look perfect on this card too. Loving that wash of pale blue. Fabulous card.

Just gorgeous, Sabrina. I love mermaid cards and you do them better than most people. Tge sentiment is wonderful on this card and the sea shells turned out terrific.
