Squealing with glee because the inspiration site chosen by Kia this week, Burnett's Boards, is full of flowers, yippee ki yay! I chose this for my inspiration: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/508766089163498613/
Normally, I wouldn't try a top heavy approach for a card, but well, that's what the inspiration is for - so I did! Since I'm still out of white cs (I haven't broken down yet, LOL), I used a bit of white glitter paper to mat the sentiment (computer-printed), and lt blue cs for both the sentiment and the card base.
I've been thinking about this quote for quite sometime, I told it to my son who was very discouraged when someone 'did not see his worth'. And I do think that everyone who feels overlooked, under appreciated, or not feel confident need to know this - you have value, whether or not somebody acknowledges it.
Thank you, Kia, for a fantastic site!

Indeed - this Saturday challenge is absolutely meant to take us to new places in our art. This is a glorious way to embellish and highlight that saying. Like you I rarely do "top heavy" cards so this is a super change of pace.

How fortuitous that you were our of white cs because the glitter paper and lt blue look stunning. Your flowers are jaw-dropping gorgeous and the "top-heavy" layout as you called does not look top heavy at all -- it's perfect.
I, too, love this quote and agree with your write up that we all need to remember this from time to time. I hope your son was able to absorb the lesson and will look within for his validation -- so hard to do when you are young; sometimes hard even when you are older and wiser. Love what Anita said here -- "Thank you for this great sentiment. It makes us feel worthy straightaway". Brilliant remark Anita; Brilliant card Gem.
