Kia is our hostess and she has a fantastic site for this week's Inspiration Challenge. I was inspired by this photo. This was one of those cards that I hate doing because it is too time consuming for me. That being said, I am pleased with the end results and I have enough extra pieces that I can make more cards. I wanted to keep similar colors as the photo, so I marbled three pieces of glossy paper. I die cut them and a white piece with the Quatrefoil coverplate. After about an hour playing around with the tiles, I finally found a color layout that I liked. Glued the tiles down and colored my flowers. Die cut the flowers and popped it up on the oval. Added a sentiment and embellished with the stickles and dew drops.

Amy - this was so worth the time and effort of finding the perfect placement for all those tiles. Your bg has the feel of a mosaic Moroccan wall to me. Just a lovely way to display those beautifully colored blooms.

Your bg is stunning and the colors you used are so beautiful. I definitely think the extra time it took to do this made for a spectacular card. And, I agree with Stacy -- pop those other tiles into the framing while it's still fresh in your mind and you will have a couple more beauties. Awesome card.
