I did watch the video on Wed and painted this little scene last night and ended up adding the leaves on the stems of the lavender in the front as the stuff in my garden is a very woody plant and since its in flower beds and or pots there are not really blades of grass in mine. So, painting the grass looked odd to me, and knowing how woody these plants are I cannot imagine laying in a field of them but, you know I love Lavender and I really did try. I even added the salt to the first layer of hazy blooms but, it really did not do much of anything for me when dry either. So, I was totally impressed with how much water looking bloom that lady got on hers. I had let this sit all day just so I could take another look at it tonight and decided it was OK the way it is and I did not add another round of leaves and stems and such today. (last night that was debatable) Thanks for this challenge Kia, & tfl.

Oh, my word! First I Pinned this to my secret board of Faves all Year and then I came back to read your description. Just ok? I don't think so! This is gorgeous! I love how light and wispy your sky looks even if the salt didn't work. I have noticed that salt works differently according to papers and how much water I use. I am always in awe when it works! I really like your stalks and the horizontal leaves and petals. Looks expert to me!

Lovely scene of lavender. When I forgot to trim mine after blooming it went very woody. We have beautiful lavender fields near here which you could lay down in but you would get buzzed by bees!

Beautiful Stacy! - I was hoping someone would do the landscape version and this one is perfect. Love the variety in your flowers - it obviously helps to know what it looks like IRL rather than having to rely on someone else's artistic version.
