Oh Linda, oh my! This is so beautiful. Thinking of the card gracing my mantelpiece, you must have a good collection of Japanese papers and also embrace using them (which I fear I do not!). That crane paper is absolutely beautiful, and I think the white crane does stand out better than pink would. I've never tried using vellum for origami, but I'm guessing my thinner sheets might work. Lovely use of the black frame.
