Truth be told, I think I started this Serendipity Squares challenge a few years ago when it was the TLC then or a Ways to Use it. I had made the sheet of paper with torn scraps. I love the color palette! I got part of the mannequin covered, but lost track of time and never finished it. I've come across it several times over the years and just couldn't make it happen. Thank you, Sabrina, for bringing it back to the TLC. Having the scrap paper already made was a real help. I also used a background stenciled from my stash.
The Picasso quote: 'Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life' was inked directly on the background. No matter how much time I have to create art, I always come away from it refreshed. Even when it is years in the making...
Hope you've had the dust washed off recently. I'd love to hear your story. Thanks for stopping by...

On a score of 1-10 this is an 11! I love everything about it - the creativity, the colors, that gorgeous dress with the bling, the background, and the sentiment. Absolutely stunning!

Even more amazing in real life. It will stand beautifully beside your window-dressing card with the dress-form in a poinsettia dress. What a wonderful surprise - thank you so much.
But you'll have to make another Serendipity piece for your own stash now ;-).
