For this week's Teapot Tuesday, the challenge was a play on the "grass is always greener on the other side of the fence." We were to think of something that's greener on our side of the fence. And now you are wondering about pizza... my husband makes the best pizza in the world. And that was fresh in my mind because we were traveling last weekend and went out for pizza, which is never as good as his is. (Long before we ever met, he managed a pizza restaurant that, as my MIL said again over the weekend, had the best pizza ever. Years later, he recreated the crust recipe from memory and cut it down to a one-pizza size, and it's awesome). So that's how I went from green grass to pizza. The card itself is much simpler than that line of thinking. The pizza and sentiment were both sent to me by a Teaapotter a while back in a Teapot tickle. All I had to do was color them and arrange them on some DP (I was thinking green and red for Italy, but the colors on that paper are not the right shades for the Italian flag.)

What a fun prompt and YUMMM on the pizza story. It's cool how you created your swap card with someone's little gift of possibilities!!! Gotta love that.

LOVE pizza but dietary restrictions make it a no-no for me - Still I indulge once a year when my grandsons come to visit! This is a great homage to a meal that has become an American standard and aren't you lucky to have a Pizza Pro to make it for you.

Boy I bet Pizza sales went up wherever Teapotters live! You had me drooling by the time I finished reading your description. Your DH could probably make a fortune selling Pizza to all of us right now. Then you could buy more stamps! lol

I LOVE it! It made me smile on a very dreary day here in MN when my husband brought it in from the mailbox and I swiftly tore open the envelope! Thank you SO much for sharing "a pizza your heart" with me! Adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
