The blue background and the brown background were both in my stash (wrinkle free distress). I embossed the brown one and then sanded it. The flowers are done with a technique called stencil tracing. Trace through the stencil with a pen and then paint or color them. Then they were cut out. The song bird was also in my stash. I added some bits of old music paper.
There is a lot on this card, but it was fun to make.

Lovely use of the torn edges and I love the music papers! The barrel is a fantastic element, but I love all of it, each and every color piece and ink mark!

JAW-DROPPING...amazing, Melody! I love every bitty bit of this card...so much to ooh and aah about! Wonderful texture...corrugated/ and paste...mmm a favorite look for me. Loved all the torn/ inked edges, the music pieces, gorgeous bird and darling bunny...and those spiky chrysanthemums (first thought, Bird of Paradise, but no) just taking center front! FABULOUS...just can't say enough!
