Today, Denise challenged us to think that the grass is browner on the other side of the fence, which made me think of the overgrown weeds in our backyard. However, those weeds attract a lot of bees, different species of birds, butterflies, squirrels, opossums, even the neighborhood cats! And since our own cats have passed away (after being with us for 14 and 16 years), being visited by these creatures is a pleasure (yes, even the opossum, its babies are so cute!). We recently declared our backyard to be a wildlife sanctuary - so that solves the problem of having to deal with the weeds LOL.
This card is almost an exact representation of our backyard, except for the naughty bunny - it wanted to get in there and mess up the sign! The bird is giving it a scolding - but as you can see, it doesn't care!
Thank you, Denise and Sabrina, for a wonderful challenge - to be aware of the countless blessings we have... I'm excited to send this card to one of our teapotters!

Love the sign the rabbit has. Wildflowers are not weeds, though. Although I guess technically some weeds are really just wildflowers that no one likes. Your fence and all the little animals are really great! Such a good variety!
