This was totally jump started by this pin found here inside the freepik pinterest boards. I recently picked up the newest MB lavender die the pair of lavender stems and I cut some out from watercolor paper and added some prima watercolors to them and while I was at it I decided to cut a few of
the older ones to have on hand and I had these just laying around waiting for an idea so, I had to laugh when I seen that pin and it all just kind of fell together from there. the butterfly was cut from a previously colored sheet of mixed media paper scrap and the frame was cut from a piece of shades of green on some watercolor paper. I tend to make extras when I make messy backgrounds and I didn't jot what was used on those when they were made. The sentiment is up on foam pop dots over the scene. I did add some black sharpie pin to the stitching on the butterfly detail to mimic the black that is so bold on monarch butterflies. Love the mossy looking bg and your color enhanced die cut lavender. Just a great overall design that could be used for so many occasions depending on the sentiment.
