Teapotters Challenge - to be influenced by Native American culture to create a card for Cheryl, one of our SCS tribe
Alphabet Challenge - Letter P to use pastels
As I thought about the Native American culture, I believe nature, natural elements and symbols are very important. Thus I was influenced to choose my pastel colors to represent earth (greens), sky (light blue), beauty in nature (pink) in flowers or a sunrise of a new day.
The sentiment is a favorite from Psalms 32:10 and it was white heat embossed. I stamped the light green panel repeatedly without re-inking with the two greens and used die-cut stems in the same colors. The flowers were inked with Regal Rose, stamped off first for a lighter shade, and then stamped. I rubbed a little light yellow in the center and die-cut. The feathers were embossed & die-cut. Linen thread was wrapped around and elements were secured. I added the wooden hearts for a symbol of love.
Sending to Cheryl, who is a dear sister in Christ and a beloved one of the tribe on SCS. TFL
