Finally got time to try the northern lights and winter snows. I've only been lucky enough to see the northern lights once when I was about 10 years old and wanted to try to paint what I remembered them looking like then. So pink and green it was with my midnight blue sky. ( and isn't it fun that when the pink and blue ran together, I got some purple fingers of light, too!) Wasn't sure when this was wet just WHAT I had but liked the results as it dried. I actually struggled more with the shadows in the snow and need more practice time on those but even so, I'm pleased with overall illusion.

I think you did a fabulous job with your Northern Lights Linda. Love the movement and the colours blending, so very pretty. The snow scene is beautiful too with the little bits of shadow and the deer.
I love how you tried to envision what you saw as a child. So cool. I think your tiny images are perfect for this challenge b/c they really make the sky and ground look spacious. LOVE your coloring!!

SENSATIONAL!!!! Oh do I love your northern lights and their movement. The pink just makes everything right. Like your subtle shadows on the snow. You have magic in those artistic hands. TFS

Love your beautiful card, Linda. The lights seem to be shifting/moving about which makes them look real. I like your snowy scene with the animals/trees. Fab card!!!
