This card is for three challenges: CC-daffodil delight, smoky slate, basic gray; today's sketch; Monday's CAS-add a bug. An insect can be a bug but a bug can't be an insect...totally different construction. But in general, it's fine to use them interchangeably, vocabulary-wise.
I love yellow with grays. First I brayered the cardstock with the basic gray and gray granite (gray granite is more brown than I realized), then I stenciled over that with the smoky slate. I love the words on the stencil. I cut the oval out of a dotted vellum and added my daffodils and a ribbon butterfly (for the CAS). I thought it was funny that ribbon would again be the dessert but butterflies move and daffodils sway in the breeze. This worked for the sketch after I added some glitter pen to create the illusion of the center pieces. I thought the words acted as the cross pieces also. I used the mossy meadow to paint some leaves and cut them out. Daffodils were fussy cut. I edged the whole card with Versamark and some yellow ep.

I love your card design. So pretty. Grays and yellow go so well together. Very creative making your butterfly out of the ribbon great creativity. You can never have to much glitter....Love it!
