Chris is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has chosen the Pantone 2021 Colors of the Year for our palette. The colors are Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate and Basic Gray, with a dessert option: "something that moves."
My mover and shaker is a whimsical little owl, sitting on a branch in front of a bright sun. I stamped the owl and the tree branch with Basic Gray ink, and then filled in the owl with a light gray Polychromos pencil. I also filled in the leaves with a pencil that is close to Mossy Meadow, a neutral.
I found some old DS paper that has Smoky Slate and Daffodil Delight stripes. How perfect! Used it as a backdrop, added a bow and some crystals and yellow drops.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Wow, Barbara, you couldn't have found a more perfect designer paper for this week's challenge! I love your little hooter sitting on his branch roasting his tailfeathers in the sun! Adorable card!

Oh this is a beauty, Barbara! I love how elegant and crisp it is - and the dies you've used really showcase that super sweet owl! Wonderful, fresh card! Hugs!
