Toni is our WTUI hostess this week : her scissors-based challenge is HERE.
I fussy-cut my tailor's form ( the winy/purple colour at the top is the colour of the form my mother had. Mine is a much duller grey).
DoCrafts background and Haberdashery set, Delicate Details, IO CAC Gingham, and Stamper's Anonymous Just Thoughts. Scissors are Joanna Sheen, as is the thimble. Delicate Details lace embossed with gold, and there's a sprinkling of Aged Teal chunky EP. I also took a piece of muslin, pressed it into Tea Dye ink and pressed it into the background.

I had so much fun looking at all your many details! I love that you added that tiny flower embellishment on the tailor's form!

Great card for anyone, but especially for a sewer. I, too, have a friend who I would love to give this card to. So many details and they work so beautifully together. I especially liked the edging of lace along with the blanket stitch (thanks to Jennifrann for reminding me of the stitch name). They along with the die cuts really highlight that great dress form. But I especially love the sentiment. It is, indeed, very inspiring.

Lovely sewing themed card! Love tape measure background and lacey and buttonhole/blanket stitched edgings! Your sentiment, embellished dress form, scissors, and thimble are perfect. What a GREAT card!
