I made this card for the Watercolor Wednesday challenge by Angie, who shared a video on creating a cherry blossom branch! It was so much fun!
I watercolored and cut out around my watercolored cherry blossom branch. I added my sentiment using my 12" x 12" Misti, so I could stamp the sympathy sentiment to make it dark enough. I watercolored some poetry pages, tore the edges and glued onto my cream card, then glued down my watercolor branch.
Thanks for an awesome challenge Angie.
I'm also using this card for the ABC challenge: "Newsprint."

This is beautiful. I tried water coloring those cherry blossoms twice and neither one came out worth a flip. I need a lot more practice at my water coloring skills. LOL Love how you added the newsprint for the background. A real masterpiece for sure!

Really unique with the partially fussy cut blossoms and I love the addition of the poetry pages on this sympathy card. An overall beauty in concept and execution.

This is beautiful! The text for part of the BG is really cool and even better that you water colored it! You got some beautiful blending in your flowers. It was fun wasn't it!
