I saw this challenge in the MMJ-Mixed Media challenges and was so surprised you could emboss fabric- I had to give it a go finally- this was the December challenge....
First, I used Mat Gel medium to apply the fabric to cardstock, and let it dry. Picked an embossing folder to emboss it. I decided to leave the piece in the EF and added Distress inks over the snowflakes, many shades of blues. I added Wink of Stella over the snowflakes and added some musical scores to the fabric- it did not come out very clearly though.... Added rhinestones to the centers of the snowflakes and finished with a sentiment.
Very fun challenge -hostess Melodie aka lacyquilter
I am also adding this card in for the Ways to Use it-Monochromatic

This is beautiful, Shelly...love your fabric but that sponged embossing really brought it over the top with the great white scalloped edging! There's nothing like white, navy, and blues together...clean and crisp looking!
