Stacy is hosting the Inspiration Challenge today and she has taken us to Tim Holtz Sizzix. I took my inspiration from this card.
My background is done using Fuchsia and Lemon Yellow Color Burst powders with Perfect Pearl Sunflower Sparkle mixture spritzed over background. I die cut the dragonfly bottom from 40lb vellum, and the top piece of the dragonfly from the Tonic watercolour paper, then painted gold from the Gansai Gem paint set. Attached with Nuvo Adhesive and added a scattering of Crystals to finish. I did not add a sentiment as I am not sure what I will use the card for. I have more detail which can be found on my blog.
Thanks for looking.

Your vellum and gold dragonfly looks so elegant on that gorgeus background. Into my favorites.

Wowza - you nailed that hot pink and popsicle Orange background! The vellum was a marvelous idea to soften the color behind your dragonfly die cut so he wouldn't get lost in the swirls of color beyond.
