ran out of room for all the "stuff" on these tags in the accessories section sorry... the funny part is there was a ton of products used so, in my mind I'd expect them to be more fluffy and 3-D I guess & I had to laugh at my self that they are still fairly flat and a little CAS for so much media. These were totally jump started by this pin by Paula Cheney seen here on the Pinterest board for this week's Inspiration Destination. I have recently felt like a light bulb exploded in my brain that tags could be any shape rather than a tag, or a circle. I have in the distant past done primitive star shaped tags but, most of my tags are very much Tag shapes kiwm? Last Year at Christmas time I had seen a wood window frame shaped just like this with no paint on it in the sidewalk display window downtown of a local shop with a simple wreath on it and I loved it so much, then I went on vacation and when I came home everything shut down from covid. So, I never made it into that store to see if the window frame was tucked away in another corner of the shop or if someone bought it. I think of it as the one that got away. and I hardly ever buy dust catchers for my house so, *shrugs* this was a little bit of a play on that Memory too. The backing on these windows are alcohol inks on Yupo. The black one on the left is 3 layers of white cardstock that was painted with acrylic paint and I did deliberately dab the sponge brush to make it textured. ( it went flat upon drying lol) the one on the right the top layer is some canvas paper that was painted with a mix of gesso and green acrylic paint a while back and I thought the texture was cool. I have a few more mug shots here on the blog. You can find this challenge here to play along with us. Thanks for looking.
