Nope, unfortunately not going anywhere. I just went to get my first shingles vaccine, finally, and went to Michael's for some adhesive and other supplies. I haven't been out of the house since Monday.
This card is for Wednesday's sketch and today's WT-monochromatic, which I always enjoy. I also include this for ABC14 challenge-m is for masculine. More on that later.
I don't have a single edge die to cut down the middle so I opted for the square die like Dina used. I'll have to look at the directions again because I did something wrong with the die. What else is new??? Anywho, I fixed it.
I chose three blue/green colors for my palette, sponging them on the white cs and the lightweight paper for the inside. Then I stenciled with the storm sky. Used a travel set from IO for the sentiment, some postage wood mount stamps, and added a stamp from France and some Nuvo Dream Drops.
About the M is for masculine....what is masculine and what is feminine? I've often had comments on cards, saying 'what a good masculine card'. I've never had a comment 'what a lovely feminine card'. I rarely choose to make a card for either gender and of course now there are many genders. I intentionally put on a postage stamp with a woman's face and the Nuvo drops, just to show that my cards are for humans, first and foremost. We all have both genders inside of us. Is pink only for women? I wore my Green Bay Packer pink cap today, have had it since Deanna Favre had breast cancer. But men get breast cancer too; I have a friend who died from it. I truly wish we could stop dividing things into masculine and feminine, especially in this day and age. Thanks for listening. Instead of M for masculine, this is M for mammal, because that's what we all are.

I love the intricate design of your card and it's lovely blue color scheme. Interesting to hear your thoughts on gender- I'm totally with you. Being around many young adults I see the toxicity as they are rejected by the older adults they look up to, not being understood. Good for you!

Awesome card Jean whether for a woman or man. It could also go against the alpha e challenge for Europe. You make the fold cards sound easy. Why am I not brave enough to try one yet lol. TFS. Happy day
Ps..I really hope that we don’t stop using the words mother, father, sister, etc....I’m a traditionalist

I wish we could chat over a cup of coffee some day. I love your gender discourse. Also interesting to read the responses to it. I prefer a wide lens when exploring. Most accurate to say "There have always been many genders." Even before books (Bibles or sociology texts or Germaine Greer) tried to define them. Oh, nice card, too.
