A very atypical card from me - I used a paint chip in shades of purple which Sandy sent me when I mentioned that American paint chips must be totally different from ours - with which you might slightly embellish a card, but they would certainly never form the basis of one. Because the chip already had the little square apertures, I decided to matt it onto a green layer and add the little flowers. I embossed the paint chip with SU script ef for a little more interest.. Cheery Lynn small flourish and Memory Box leaf cut from the same card as the under layer. Edges rounded with a Corner Chomper to match the paint chip. Dymo label sentiment, flowers were a RAK, and have pearls added in the centres.

Beautiful shades of purple, Sabrina! How smart to add some embossing to them.....cute way to cover up those squares, it looks like the flowers are popping out of them~

Beautiful card, Sabrina! I can remember going back some ten years ago, that we were given paint chips at a class and had to make a card....Not easy to do when you are just starting out. But it was interesting.....Not as gorgeous as yours.......TFS

So nice to see the Embossing on the chip to give it some texture! The small flowers are lovely and they fit right in the cut-out squares! Very pretty card!

It's so interesting to see variations around the world. Nice arrangement of flower sprays for this chipper card.

I love the script bg you used. It really adds some interest to the overall look. The nice thing about paint chip cards is that the colors are already perfectly blended and this is a perfectly designed card. Love the hints of gold in the border, flourishes and leaves. Perfect accent color. Wonderful card.

I love how you used the paint chip Sabrina. I am curious how paint chips differ for you. The addition of the flowers and leaves is great too and i love that you added texture to the paint chip.

Wow, those paint chips are much bigger than I'd expected, perfect for covering a card, like you said! Love the tones and you've used the apertures perfectly. Gorgeous colours.
