Congratulations Denise Bryant on becoming our latest featured stamper. I really enjoyed looking through you wonderful gallery. Here is the cute card that inspired me Snowmen
Instead of the snowmen I used these cute little Meerkats. I created a summer scene instead of the winter scene and mine is a birthday card instead of a Christmas card.
I had a group of 5 meerkats on one stamp and then two stamps with just one meerkat. I stamped the group of 5 along with the 2 single images along the bottom edge. And then the MASKING began. I had to mask the image several times to get my large group of Meerkats. I stamped on the mountains with smoky slate ink. And water coloured in the sky. I coloured all the Meerkats with copic markers. Water coloured in the ground with River Rock ink. Stamped on the sun and the birthday sentiment. Added a little snow to the mountain tops. Edged up the single layer card with a black marker.
Enjoy your time in the spotlight, Denise.
Hugs and a Happy New Year

What a sweet card with the mountains in the background and I love river rock ink, but never think to use it. I smiled when you said "and then the masking began", lol. Not my strong suit, but you did wonderfully well with all those kats.
