My 1st pop-up box card, a tickler for a fellow teapotter. Hard to see in the picture but the large scalloped oval has a butterfly and the word hope. And elephants on the front panel, a nod to Babar. 2020 has been a trying year for many and we were not the exception. Job loss, both parent-in-law's died and on Monday my son's house caught fire. Everyone escaped and are safe but there is nothing salvageable left. So, for now and maybe for quite some time, he, his wife and their 4 year old autistic son have moved in with us. The words to an old hymn resonate tonight: Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow...
May 2021 bring all that and more for each one. Enjoy!

Oh my, Vicki! I didn’t make it through this whole gallery to comment and didn’t read your write up until now. So sorry to read about the fire. But so glad that your son has you to lean on. Make the best of your new togetherness. Cherish the extra time. See the silver lining. Hugs! And thank you for this wonderful tickle in the midst of all the craziness. It truly did fill me with hope to see all the goodness pop out of it. My boys think it’s just the best!!
