my favorite season is fall and as we say goodbye to it for the rapidly approaching winter season, its officially sweater weather at my house now. I just love the textures of them, all of them and I do not knit although I do have some rudimentary crochet skills I love to see the textures of Sweaters, scarves and such so, I happened across this pattern and thought that was really cool and I found this printed paper ( on the bunny die cut) that looked a great deal like it to my eye so, it grew from there and then all the critters had to have a sweater.
So, when I found this reddish background printed paper I loved how it looked like it had a spot light going on in the center like those old mug shots families used to get done at places like Sears and JC Penney's ( remember that?) and I placed the sentiment stamp on my glass mat and used flipped the scrap from making the print square to a rectangle over the top of that upturned inked stamp but, the paper was too flimsy to hold its shape and it stamped blurry. So, I grabbed a scrap of Kraft cardstock, stamped the sentiment in the Misti and then proceeded to ink it with candied apple, aged mahogany and black soot oxide inks to mimic the colors of the print. ( that sentiment is up on foam pop dots over the rest of the card) I did use some little hmmm forgot the name they look like old fashioned eyeshadow makeup tools for rubbing the inks on the diecuts. ( had to have them because of something I seen Kittie post a long time ago, keep forgetting I have them tools)
Thanks for looking you can find this challenge here to play along with us.

Stacy, your card is SO charming. Don't know why, it reminds me of Wysocki art....maybe the colors, the frontal view, or the arrangement of the animals in their sweet sweaters. Love it!
