Well, I really managed to impress my self. ( I cannot draw a straight line for no amount of bribery) so, as I was going along with this snowman I kept wanting to pinch me that it was working. So of course I got in a hurry and goofed the brim. my thought processes is if you are going to goof something it is going to be either the black or red colors every time right? So, I probably got carried away with the shadows and it looked pretty nee-kid so I add-lib bed some trees on the sides then used a die to add some interest and lost the trunk on the closer tree. then after I shot this I thought too bad he is not holding a bird house. eh, maybe next time. Brenda, thanks for this challenge. & tfl.

You really nailed this challenge with your adorable snowman and scenery. Glad it was fun to sketch and paint him. The hat is perfect, but I know what you mean about a mistake is usually made with black or red. Really happy to see you join the challenge and give us this cute guy.

Stacy, I am so glad you jumped in this week and created this adorable snowman. I love him! The trees look really pretty, too. A birdhouse would have been really cute, too. Now, you know you can do this (and do a great job, at that), you will have to join us every week. Happy Thanksgiving.

Pat yourself on the back my friend - you did a great job on your snowman and I for one would never have known you had "extra" shadow where you hadn't planned. It works where it's at! I like the addition of those tall skinny trees too.

Oh, he turned out great! See you can do it cause there are really not many straight lines in a snowman! I love the hat, think it looks great! The trees do add to the scene. I cut mine so close that i had no room for anything behind him. I love the wonky stitched die you used, too!

It's spectacular, Stacy! You really should be impressed with yourself. He's so cute, the trees were a great idea, and the wonky stitch and sentiment spacing are perfection. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
