I needed a dark sky for the Alphabet Challenge and wanted to use these little houses arranged as a little village. I decided to give them a yellow layer behind so they would have lights inside. Then I cut the star die from the set all across the sky. I had inked the sky with tempting turquoise first and then the night of navy ink over it. It gave it a little brighter look.

Oh, precious Pat, what a gorgeous card!! I think the starry sky is amazing, and the lit village is stunning! I love the depth with how you've layered the buildings! It's even more beautiful in real life, and thank you so much for sending it to me. I love it, and it was a pleasure to help you as you were on the DD team -- and made us all proud! Please catch up on the DD Chat thread for the latest on me. Sending wishes for a blessed Christmas with lots of love and hugs! xoxo
