Oh, the sun is shining, it's Thanksgiving week...we celebrated ours with family on Sunday, it's all about gravy now! And so I thank our Challenge hostesses for some lighthearted fun with beautiful colors. Jeanne asked for Holiday giggles last week (F4A561), Stacy introduced us to a playful couple of sisters who have a greeting card business on line (IC781), and Karen brought such gorgeous colors (CC819), I couldn't resist bringing out Clarice (I think she is related to Eunice and Bernice, I'll investigate the family tree).
And you'll be thanking her come January 2.
When I spied the refrigerators in the Home Depot ad on Sunday, I knew this one would be useful! Clarice was stamped on Mixed Media smooth paper. I used Copics to color her. The spectacles were stamped and fussy cut 4x's to add some dimension. Had to use some dryer lint on the antler headband she sports. She was fussy cut. My background 'wall' in the kitchen was stenciled with this awesome 'LISTEN' stencil from Stencil Girl (thanks Jean) I used TH 'Speckled Egg' over the Pool Party SU cs. The Shaded Spruce is a mat as well as the stripes on Clarice's garment. I divided the Riley&Co sentiment. They actually hide some ad features for the refrigerator! Finished up with tiny staples and a trim candy cane.
Here's hoping I made you giggle. Let the Holiday Season begin...thanks for hanging out.

Oh my gosh!! Laughing out loud. So quirky and creative. Clarice is quite the character. And I love that you cut out a refrigerator from an ad! Saving this gem to my favorites!

HAHAHA.....thanks for that wonderful idea about the scales. Fab card and I sure did get a giggle. Great idea with the fridge and putting the dryer lint on her antlers was very creative. Showed it to hubby and he had a laugh over the sentiment, too. He said it was a great idea.
