This is my entry for the Alphabet Challenge letter G for girly and is out of my normal. I thought and thought about a girly Christmas card and then this idea came to me and I ran with it. Girls in their sparkly Christmas dresses was my inspiration.
I created the background by scribbling three colors of gelatos on watercolor paper, spraying with water, letting it dry, and then ink blending distress ink over top using the Festive stencil.
I die cut quite a collection of pink pine boughs (DD1 said, "Pink?"). I free cut the bodice because I didn't want to look for a pattern. I stamped the bodice with the Tapestry stamp using Versamark and then gold heat embossed it, sponging pink around the edges. After adding the "skirt" to the bodice, I added gems along the waist and randomly on the skirt. I heat embossed the sentiment, added a gold mirror mat, and called it done.
Thanks for the challenge, Ann, and thanks for looking!
