Dacia used strips of pretty DP to make her tree, and I used strips of masking tape that I painted up to make faux washi tape using Jayne's MMJ010 and the IC780 Cute Tape challenge as inspiration. Here is my washi tape inspiration:
I also added in a bird (WT818 is all about birds as is this month's **Art*Journal*Journey* theme) and a fun fox.
I used Dacia's card as inspiration for my card and my BAJ page. The BAJ page is Isaiah 41:19. Another example of how much God loves us. He continually provides for us and shows His love - in billions of ways.
If you want to do faux washi tape too there is a tutorial on SCS and Jayne has a bunch of videos to watch in the MMJ challenge only thread.
Fun gallery, Dacia. Thanks for the inspiration! Enjoy your week. Hugz

Gosh, Nancy, I love your trees! I remember saving a card with a tree made a little like that for years as inspiration. I like your fox. Do yours have stripy tails? I like the sort of planking you used as the trunk of the tree on the card, too.
Nancy, your matching card and bible journal page are beautiful. It is such a great case of Dacia's card. I especially love that you made your own washi tape. You are such a talented lady.

I love the rustic washi Christmas tree, Nancy. But even more, I love seeing your work spread over a year in your Bible journaling. I've got many started and unfinished journals, Bibles, hymnals. But even though they are not finished, I understand we are never finished this side of Heaven! Praise God for that. Thanks for a small window into your journey.
