I had so much fun with this! This is for Dina's FF challenge to use a light source on your creation. I have a lot of star 'equipment' but very little else for Christmas. Then I remembered this little angel with the candle.
This is also for Nancy's MMJ09 challenge: use tea bags. Who knew there were so many videos about using tea bags? I had some in my stash, all used, so I opened one up for that stamped background and used one whole (after emptying the tea). I gessoed the tea bag a little, stamped with Stazon, edged it with the tea stain (hah!) ink and a little of the teal. I gessoed the tag because who wants Lipton showing, sponged the tea stain and then stamped a punch of stars. This all was layered on a gel print from my stash: acrylic paint over alcohol ink ghost print. The coffee cup is cut from a piece of cardstock that I put some leftover Lumiere pearl paint on. The paint created some nice texture and I kept it in my stash. I sprayed several sprays on the top, which settled nicely into the grooves and dried really well, which surprised me a bit. I really like that cup! Just playing around with stuff can create lots of fun!

This is so lovely, Jean. I should collect my tea bags but I can't keep everything, right?! Love the colors you used and the texture on the cup is fabulous.
