This week the Tea Party is headed to Steve who has recently undergone a bone marrow transplant to combat leukemia. Steve loves the outdoors and his favorite colors are blue and sand. My favorite outdoor spot is in the pines in the mountains. I hope Steve likes that spot too.
This tree stamp has several open spots that I guess is suppose to be snow, but I didn't want a snow scene. I stamped the trees with DI on watercolor paper then used a brush and water to move the ink around to fill in the "holes". Restamped, moved, and then restamped a couple more times. For the ground, I mixed Scattered Straw and Walnut Stain DI trying for a sandy color. Didn't quite make it, so I guess I will only get half a cookie today.
The CAS challenge this week is to take a trip. My fondest memories are the camping trips I took as a youth to Yosemite Valley. I think Yosemite is my favorite spot on this planet, but then I haven't been to all the spots yet so I can't say for absolute sure.
Hope you have an extraordinary day. TFL

I am not sure how I missed this, Debbie, but going to comment now, since I just saw you are the featured stamper this week!!! Exciting. I love how you did the trees, since you didn't want snow. I am sure Steve was thrilled with this outdoor scene!
